Janet Jackson Released After Hospitalized

After a two-hour stay at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal, Janet Jackson was released. Jackson was scheduled to perform in Montreal on Monday but had to cancel the show after getting "suddenly ill" during her sound check. There were no details of her condition after that.

The singer has complained to her boyfriend, Jermaine Dupri, that she was exhausted. "A 42-year-old body can't handle what a 22-year-old body can," says a source. "I can tell you that she's definitely tired. It was probably exhaustion. She is doing back-to-back, three-hour shows, and her body isn't the same as it used to be."

At the same night Jackson was rushed to the hospital, Dupri was spotted partying at Patron's Music in Motion Tour in New York City. According to the source, "If [Janet's condition] was more serious he would've rushed to her side."

It's good that her condition was not serious. Dupri should of at least gone to the hospital though even if she was there for only a couple of hours.

Heath Ledger's Estate To Be Inherirted By Daughter

By family decision, Heath Ledger's family are donating Ledger's entire estate to his daughter, Matilda Rose. Originally, Ledger signed a will to leave his entire fortune to his parents and sisters. This was two years before his daughter's birth.

Ledger's father, Kim, said that they decided to give all the money to Matilda who is now 2 years old. "There was never any question about the fact that Heath's estate would go to Matilda," says Kim. He also adds, "Never a question. We are very close to Michelle and Matilda."

Heather Locklear Arrested For DUI Charge

On Saturday Sept 27, 2008, Heather Locklear was pulled over by a California Highway Patrol officer. She was then charged for suspicion of driving under the influence of prescription medication. According to the CHP spokesman, a resident had reported that she was driving "erratically." The officer had spotted her car parked on a state highway blocking a lane. When the officer spoke with her, he noticed she seemed to be "under influence of something." Locklear was then taken in, tested for drugs and alcohol, booked, and then released.

Locklear had entered an inpatient facility for treatment for anxiety and depression.

It sounds like she might of took some of her medication she got at the inpatient facility. Even so, she should of known better not to drive after taken medication. Hope this is a lesson learned.

Stars, Scarlet Johansson and Ryan Reynolds got married this weekend in Vancouver, B.C according to Reynolds' rep, Meredith O'Sullivan. The couple keld their ceremony at a remote wilderness retreat. Only a handful of close friends attended the ceremony. This is Johansson's, 23, and Reynolds', 31, first marriage.

The two began dating shortly after Reynolds broke-up with Alanis Morissette last year. Morissette recently expressed well wishes on Reynolds' engagement.

Former "George Lopez" Star, Constance Marie Is Pregnant

The former George Lopez star, Constance Marie, 43, and her fiance, Kent Katich, are expecting their first child. Their expecting their baby girl in February. Marie tells Us magazine that in the beginning she was not sure if she wanted children. It was after playing a mother for so long she decided to be one.

She says, "But after 10, 11 years of playing a mom, starting with [1997 biopic] Selena and then to the George Lopez show, I think I finally decided that I wanted to be one in real life!" She adds, "If you're not around children constantly, you don't realize how wonderful they are!"

The couple have yet to decide if they will marry before or after the baby arrives.

A source has confirmed to PEOPLE that actres Natalie Portman and her folk-rocker boyfriend Devendra Banhart are not longer together. The two started dating after Portman starred in his video, "Carmensita." The video was shot last March. After that they were seen kissing on the streets of New York and over sushi at Jewel Bako. The two also traveled together to Cannes and Israel.

Portman is also a fan of Bernhart's music and asked him to donate a track to the charity compilation she curated on iTunes, Big Change: Songs for FINCA. In return for the favor, Portman waived the usual fee for appearing in the video.

On a radio interview on Monday night, Lindsay Lohan confirmed her relationship with her girlfriend Samantha Ronson. On the radio show, Loveline, the co-host, Ted Stryker, asked Lohan how long she has been "going out" with Ronson. Lohan laughs and responded, "A very long time."

The couple were on the show to talk about Travis Barker's plane crash on Friday night. The two woke up to e-mails about the crash. "AM has been a great friend to me and he's such a good guy and Travis a great guy as well and an amazing father," she added. "It was all really scary." Lohan also said, "Lil Chris, god bless his soul, I knew him well too."

We all knew they were a couple. I can't wait to see what daddy Lohan have to say now.

Cause of Death For Crew of Travis Barker Crash Revealed

The crash of Travis Barker's plane took the lives of four people. Coroners have determined the cause of death for the pilot, co-pilot, and the two passengers. The pilot, Sarah Lemmon, and co-pilot, James Bland, died from smoke inhalation and burns The two passengers, Chris Baker and Charles Still, died from impact-related injuries.

Miley Cyrus Not Leaving "Hannah Montana" Anytime Soon

There have been reports over the weekend saying that Miley Cyrus and her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, have been causing drama on the Hannah Montana set in order to get fired. The rumors claim that the father and daughter have been showing up late and openly talking about getting fired. There are also rumors that there is tension between Miley and her costar, Emily Osmont.

Do not worry all you Hannah Montana fans, Miley is not leaving yet. Miley tells PEOPLE, "I am fully committed to Hannah Montana. It's what gave me this amazing opportunity to reach out to so many people." She also adds, "I couldn't do it alone. We have an amazing cast that is so supportive, including my dad who has been there for me every step of the way."

Disney reps say that all the drama on set was "just gossip," while a source close to Miley Cyrus says Miley is devoted to the show and has her day planned out. She is either taping her show or recording the Hannah Montana soundtrack.

The source also goes on saying that the relationship between Miley and Emily Osmont are like sisters.

Miley is smart not to dump the show that brought her to fame.

Travis Barker's plane crash

According to TMZ.com, Barker sustained burns from the waist down, while AM suffered facial burns. Travis Barker and DJ Am are alive but are critical condition. We're also told the tragedy is all the worse because one of the passengers who died, Chris Baker, Travis' assistant on "Meet the Barkers," was married recently and has a new baby.


It's such a tragedy to hear anyone dying especially anyone who is married and has a new baby. I am glad that there are at least a few survivors. Our prayer goes out to them and their families.

Mark Wahlberg and his fiancee Rhea Durham welcomed their third child, a boy, on Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2008. The couple also have a 4-year-old daughter, Ella, and a 2-year-old son, Michael. They have been together for a long time but it was only recently that Wahlberg proposed to Durham.

Wahlberg explains, "I was not prepared to be married, no matter who it was when I was 20 or 30." Wahlberg also added, "Committing to making it work and all the other things that go into building a solid foundation is where I'm at now."

Even though the couple are excited about the baby boy, their 4-year-old daughter was not. She wanted a baby sister to play with. All was well after Wahlberg told her that she would be spoiled more.

Alex Rodriguez Calls a Truce With Ex-Wife Cynthia

According to the former lawyers of the couple , "Cynthia and Alex Rodriguez have amicably resolved their dissolution of marriage proceedings." They entered a private negotiation and made their decisions with the best interest of their children in mind.

Cynthia filed for divorce in July saying Alex "emotionally abandoned" her and their children and had a series of affairs. She asked to keep their $12 million Coral Gables, Fla., mansion as well as part of his earnings. Alex argued that the divorce should be determined by their prenup.

Protesters Greet Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes On Broadway

Anti-Scientology protesters greeted Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes outside the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre in New York. Katie Holmes was starring in her first preview performance of All My Sons.

The protesters had V for Vendetta style masks on while holding signs saying, "SCIENTOLOGY KILLS" and "FREE KATIE."

“We are not boycotting Katie, we are not boycotting the play, we are protesting Scientology," a member of the group shouted. "It is evil. Scientology kills people. It follows you home at night. It is perverted,” said one of the demonstrators. Another protestor also said, "We aren't protesting Katie, but Scientology is a cult and once you become a member you can't leave, and we've heard that Katie isn't able to leave because of Tom Cruise."

This did not keep Cruise from seeing his wife make her debut.

Brad Pitt Supports Same-Sex Marriage

Brad Pitt has donated $100,000 to fight California's Proposition 8. Proposition 8 is a ballot initiative that would take away the right of same-sex couples to marry.

"Because no one has the right to deny another their life, even though they disagree with it, because everyone has the right to live the life they so desire if it doesn't harm another and because discrimination has no place in America, my vote will be for equality and against Proposition 8," said Pitt in a statement.

Brad Pitt has previously told Esquire that he and Angelina Jolie would marry once gay marriage was made legal.

Good for him. People should have the right to marry whoever they love.

Jonas Brothers Say They'll Marry Their "Biggest Fan"

On their Myspace page, The Jonas Brothers answered a fan question, would they ever date a fan? "The answer is YES," they wrote. "We have already dated fans or girls that are not celebrities. In fact, we really like to believe that the girl we will spend our lives with will be our biggest 'fan.'"

As for who they are dating now, the boys are not telling. They wrote that it is a rule not to talk about their personal lives.

George Takei (Star Trek) Marries Longtime Partner, Brad Attman

On Sunday Sept. 14, 2008, George Takei, best known as Sulu on Star Trek, and his partner of 21 years, Brad Attman, got married. The couple exchanged turquoise wedding bands during the ceremony at the Democracy Forum of the Japanese American National Museum in L.A. The ceremony was officiated by a Buddhist priest in front of 200 guests.

Takei's Star Trek co-stars were a part of the ceremony as well. Nichelle Nichols (Uhura) as the best lady and Walter Koenig (Chekhov) as the best man. Some other guests were, U.S. Senator Daniel K. Inouye of Hawaii, L.A. Councilmember Jan Perry and humanitarian Dr. Sybil Jordan Hampton.

After the vows, Takei said, "May equality live long and prosper!"

The 71-year-old Takei and the 54-year-old Attman plan to honeymoon in Argentina and Peru.

21 years together, that is much longer than most of the marriages today. I'm sure they are happier now that gay marriage is legalized. Congrats you two!!

Owner Saved By Dog Dialing 911

Joe Stalnaker was saved last week, on Wednesday Sept 10, 2008, by his dog after having a seizure. His German shepard, Buddy had dialed 911. An emergency dispatcher, Chris Trot recieved the call. "Hello, this is 911. Hello ... Can you hear me? Is there somebody there you can give the phone to," said Trott, on the recorded 911 call. Trott heard barking and whimpering in the background.

After tracking the call down, the police arrived 20 minutes later. Stalnaker was taken to the hospital where he stayed for two days. Stalnaker had previously received a head injury 10 years ago from a military-exercise accident. He got Buddy from Paws with a Cause and has trained his companion since Buddy was 8 weeks old. Buddy is now 18 months old.

Buddy is sure a dog of all dogs. Stalnaker is lucky to have a dog that's able to call 911 to save his life.

Billy Martin, the guitarist for Good Charlotte, recently found out that he is going to be a daddy. The news came to be a shock for the rocker but he is excited. "All the sound in the world stopped for a minute. I was shocked – but excited," says Martin.

He and his wife, Linzi, plan on a Alice's Adventures In Wonderland-themed nursery that they'll customize once they find out the gender of the baby. "If it's a girl, maybe more Alice-based, and if it's a boy, more Mad Hatter and Cheshire Cat," says Martin.

Kanye West Arrested For Felony Vandalism

According to TMZ.com, Kanye West was arrested at the American Airlines terminal in LAX. A still photographer was trying to take pictures of West. When West noticed the photographer, he confronted the photographer and smashed his camera to the ground. A TMZ photographer then video tapes the scene. One of Kanye's bodyguards then grabs the camera and struggles with the TMZ photographer. The bodyguard then throws the camera to the ground breaking it. When Kanye realized our camera guy had videotaped the incident, he rushed our guy and yelled, "Gimme that f**king tape!"

Both Kanye West and his bodyguard have been arrested.

Kanye may not have the best personality but with the paparazzi always hovering around you, eventually you will snap. Kanye should of handled it better though.

Mischa Barton and Rocker Boyfriend, Taylor Locke Ends Relationship

Mischa Barton and the guitarist for Rooney, Taylor Locke, recently broke up according to a rep for Locke's band. Barton, 22, and Locke were together since the winter. The former O.C. star, Barton have been cheering on Locke in the crowd and backstage since they got together. The two were last seen together "snuggling up" at a Hollywood lounge, the Green Door for jazz night. No comments from Barton's rep was available.

A Miracle For Father & Son Lost at Sea

After being lost for 12 hours at sea, father and son are now safe. Walter Marino, 46, and his son Chris, 12, went missing Saturday, September 6, 2008. The Coast Guard set out a search that involved a 47-foot rescue boat, water scooters, and helicopters.

Of the 12 hours lost at sea, most of them was apart from each other. When Walter lost sight of Chris, he believed he lost his son. After being picked up by the Coast Guard with his son still missing, Walter went below deck to avoid seeing his son's floating body. It was some time before Chris was found alive and well.

"I'd have to say it's the most incredible thing I've ever heard or seen on our beach," Scott Petersohn, a spokesman for Florida's Volusia County Beach Patrol, told the Orlando Sentinel. "When they're gone for more than 20 minutes, it's usually a body recovery."

I'm happy it all ended well. They were lucky.

Ashton Kutcher Takes On Coaching High School Football

Besides being an actor, producer, and a prankster, Ashton Kutcher is now also an assistant coach. Kutcher is the new assistant coach to L.A.'s Harvard-Westlake freshman football team.

Audrius Bardzukas, the Head of Athletics, told PEOPLE that Kutcher was interviewed like other candidates. Bardzukas also told PEOPLE, "I asked him why he wanted to coach. He said he's a dad, he has three daughters, and none of them are into sports. He loves football, and he said he’d always wanted to coach."

So far, Kutcher has helped bring in a win for his team in their first game.

I wonder if more spectators show up just to see Ashton?

Brody Jenner from the show, The Hills, has a new playmate. Jenner is dating 2008's Playboy Playmate of the Year Jayde Nicole. The two were seen together at the 2008 MTV's VMAs. After the awards show, the two were seen at the Chateau Marmont. Sources of E! say they were seen "getting cozy, holding hands, and kissing all night."

After the Chateau party, Jenner and Nicole went to a private party and then back to his place. The two have known each other for a while but Sunday night was when they were "coming out."

So much for Lauren getting back together with Brody.

Usher Expects Second Child

According to Usmagazine.com, Usher and his wife, Tameka Foster are expecting their second child. The couple already had a child, Usher, Raymond V, in November. Foster tells Usmagazine in July that their son is "hyper."

She also says, "He stands up, and he's walking around the table... it's amazing to watch him," she added. "I've never seen a baby crawl so fast! I call him Dash, like on the Incredibles!"

Wow, Usher does not rest does he? Already another baby. Well Congrats to the two of you!

According to reporters, when Rihanna was doing radio interviews for the VMA, Chris Brown was in her dressing room. Hmmm??? Still say you're not a couple? Come on now....admit it. Posted on Tony Dovolani's Myspace page was a message to his fans annoucing the birth of his twins. The proud dad wrote, "The twins are here! They arrived early September 8th." Dovolani received the message that it was time when he was in rehearsal with Susan Lucci. Once they heard the news, Lucci insisted Dovolani left to be with his wife, Lina.

Son Adrian Driton Dovolani was born first, at 3:14 a.m., weighing 7 lbs. Daughter Ariana Dovolani arrived 14 minutes later, weighing 7 lbs., 10 oz. Tony and Lina also have a 3 year-old daughter, Luana.

Nothing better than to see your child come into this world. Congrats to Tony and Lina Dovolani.

In an affidavit filed by Terry Bollea aka Hulk Hogan, the Hulk reported his net worth to be $32 million. His ex-wife on the other hand counters this saying he is only worth $26.7 million. Hulk claimed that he spends $38,000 a month on legal fees. Linda reported she spends on a monthly bases, $7,000 on clothing, $7,500 on maid service, and $1,700 on jewelery.

What kind of maid service does Linda have that costs over $7,000 a month!

Britney Spears To Open For VMAs

MTV has announced that Britney Spears will be opening for the VMAs this year. They did not confirm though that she will be performing. What she will be doing has not been stated yet. British comic, Russell Brand told Ryan Seacrest on Seacrest's radio show, "She's not performing, but she's certainly doing [the show] in a professional capacity." He did say that he has some ideas for the Spears. He even mentioned about pinching her back.

Spears said in a statement, "MTV has long played an important role in my career," she said. "How can I not be there to kick off their 25th VMAs?"

So is Britney ready to perform again? If she is I hope it won't be a repeat of last year's performance. At least she is making progress with pulling her life back together.

Star Jones' New Boyfriend

The former View host has a new man in her life. she is now dating Herb Wilson, the executive chef at Manhattan's Soho and Tribeca Grand hotels. The couple were seen kissing in the stands at the U.S. Open last weekend.

A friend of Jones tells PEOPLE, "It's a new relationship, and he makes her very happy." Jones, 46, and her husband, Al Reynolds, 38, filed for divorce in March.

That's good that she's moving on with her life.

According to PEOPLE, David Spade is the father of a baby born to Playboy Playmate, Jillian Grace. Spade had announced in January that he had a brief relationship with Grace. He also said that if he was proven to be the biological father, he would take responsibility.

Spade's rep says, "David and Jillian have been in close contact throughout her pregnancy and he plans to go see the baby during his first break from shooting Rules of Engagement."

The baby was born on Aug 26, 2008.

Good for David Spade for accepting responsibility. I'm still surprised that he got a girl.

Tiger Woods Expects Second Baby

On Tiger Woods' official Web site, he announced that he and his wife, Elin Nordegren, are expecting their second child. Their first child, Alexis Woods, was born in June 2007. "It was a dream come true for both Elin and myself," he said of fatherhood at the time. "I've been changing diapers and doing feedings. I definitely don't sleep now."

woods had a tough season this year after having to stop playing for the season after a successful knee surgery.

At least he has a bigger prize coming. Congrats to the couple!

Actor jerry O'Connell tells OK! that he will be an overprotective dad. O'Connell and his wife, Rebecca Romijn are expecting twin girls.

"I was like, 'They’re not allowed to date until I die.' That was my original thought. They can date boys when I’m dead" says O'Connell. He did ease up after Romijn talked him down. He then syas, "I said, ‘Okay, they can date when I’m alive, but it has to be with men who are currently — or heir to — running a country.’ Someone who is a world leader. They are allowed to date boys but it has to be a boy who is heir to a throne of a nation. I don’t care which nation – just a nation."

As far as Romijn's cravings go, O'Connell has to prepare or get soy cream cheese for her and nothing else but the soy kind.

I feel sorry for any of the boys his daughters bring home.

"Deal or No Deal" First $1 Million Winner

Deal or No Deal have been on air for three seasons and no one picked the winning case until now. Just one week into the fourth season, 27-year-old Jessica Robinson became the shows first $1 million winner.

Robinson is a pregnant stay-at-home mom from Sandee, Utah. She is expecting a boy in September. She tells PEOPLE, "All along I knew I wanted to pick briefcase number four because there's soon going to be four people in our family. It just made sense."

In the past, fifteen contestants have chosen the 1 million dollar case but changed their minds to choose another case. Robinson stuck with her case and even turned down a $561,000 offer from the banker.

with the prize money, Robinson reveals that she will put it towards a new home, new toys from toy stores rather than garage sales, and help her husband start his own business as well. She also feels relieved to be able to help contribute to the family as wiell.

I'm glad that she won. I hope everything gets better for her and her family now that they have $1 million. Congrats!!
