FCC Fine For Janet Jackson's "Wardrobe Malfunction" Tossed Out

A three-judge panel has ruled to toss the $550,000 fine that the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) had placed on CBS for the infamous 2004 Super Bowl halftime show. The court said that the FCC acted "arbitrarily and capriciously."

During the 2004 Super Bowl halftime show, Justin Timberlake rips off Jane Jackson's bustier as he sang, "Gonna have you naked by the end of this song." What some 90 million Americans saw was a lot more flesh than should be shown.

Wow, it took 4 years to come to that decision. I understand taking time to make sure the right decision is made, but 4 years seems to be long.
