Theta Chi, Phi Kappa Psi Involved in San Diego State University Drug Bust

A massive drug bust took place May 6, 2008 on San Diego State University. 96 people were arrested and 75 of those arrested were SDSU students. "Operation Suddent Fall", as the police called the operation, took place on SDSU campus. Nine search warrants were served on campus and among those were for Theta Chi and Kappa Psi fraternities. What the police found on the bust were two kilos of coke, 350 ecstasy pills, hash, meth, pistols and stacks of cash. Among other things found were: a shotgun, three semi-automatic pistols, and brass knuckles.

The operation was set in affect after a SDSU student died of cocaine overdose. The University was part of the investigation as well.
