Owen Wilson's prayers answered while flying when the engine cut out

Owen Wilson and Grant Stubbs, from Blenheim, were flying in a microlight aircraft over Pelorus Sound, on New Zealand's South Island, when the engine cut out.

"When you're in a microlight if you crash, you usually die. I turned to OB (Mr Wilson) and he said we had no fuel," Stubbs said.

"I asked what we should do. He said: 'You just pray Grant'."

Stubbs said he prayed to God to get them over a ridge and find somewhere to land.

After bringing down the plane in a small grassy area, the men noticed they were beside a massive sign about 6m high. On it was written: "Jesus is Lord - The Bible."

Wow someone was really watching out for them. They got their prayers answered.
