American Idol's David Cook dating Lacey Schwimmer

OK! magazine learned that the two stars have become closer since the rehearsal for Idol Gives Back. OK! sources say that they had total chemistry during the rehearsals and they are now dating. It is even to the point where David would stay out past curfew to be with Lacey and skip out sometimes during the day. OK! sources even noticed that Lacey's ex, Hok was jealous of the two during rehearsals.

The two is still shy about going public but Lacey has been going to the tapings and back stage of American Idol to wish David luck. She still prefers to sit in the audience behind the judges instead of with David's family.

I sure hope that David will not spend so much time with Lacey that it'll hurt his performance. I'm happy for the two but if he wants to win then he needs to manage his time carefully.
