Edison Chen Sex Scandal- pictures found on pink Macbook

America has Britney to thank for all the media frenzy. On the other side of the World, there is another person responsible for the media frenzy in Asia. A well known Hong Kong pop idol Edison Chen became the center of a sex scandal after photos of him and eight actresses and singers of Asia were leaked out on the internet. Edison is a famous actor who has branched out into the clothing line as well as singing.

So how did these photos leak out? Authorities and Edison believe that the photos were illegally copied when he took his customized pink Macbook in for service. About 1,300 intimate photos of Edison and other celebrities were copied. The first photo surfaced on Jan 27, 2008 and since then more have come out. Eight arrests have been made in Hong Kong while protests popped up against the arrests for abuse of power. Edison Chen has issued an apology for the families of those in the photos that were released. Currently he is staying in Boston with his girlfriend Vincy Yeung.
