Lindsay Lohan recreated Marilyn Monroe’s nude poses as she posed in the fashion magazine, The New York Magazine. The magazine made $500,000 off the nude poses. During the first couple of days the pictures were put up, 34 million people visited the website.

Hugh Heffner, the creator of Playboy magazine was very impressed by the photos of Lindsey as Marilyn Monroe. He was so impressed that Hugh Heffner wants Lindsay Lohan to recreate Marilyn’s naked swim in “Something’s Got To Give”. Lindsay Lohan is currently considering the opportunity with Playboy.

American Idol fans fell in love with Josiah Lemming

There was so much talent on this season of American Idol. They picked 12 talented guys and 12 talented girls from diverse backgrounds. Unfortunately, for some fans, mostly female, one favorite failed to make it to the top 24. Fans were shocked that Josiah Lemming did not make it to the top 12 guys. Josiah was an 18 year old kid who lived in his car for the most part of the year. Many fans quickly fell in love with him and hoped for the best for him. Even though fans loved him, he was not picked by the judges as one of the few to continue on with the top 24. Fans jammed the American Idol message board to bring Josiah back as a Wild Card.

Miley Cyrus aka Hannah Montana

It's hard to believe that a young girl like Miley Cyrus will have such great success. This 15 year old girl was ranked #17 on Forbes' 2007 list of top twenty earners under the age of 25. She earned $3.5 million in 2007. And with the things going for her it is no surprise that she made that list. Miley stars on the hit kids show Hannah Montana on the Disney channel. You'll see her on the cover of her album and now an upcoming movie called Hannah Montana: The Movie which is due to be released in late 2008 or early 2009. Not only is Miley an actress, singer, and songwriter, she also has her own line of clothing.

What is more surprising is how she carries herself compared to some of the other young stars out there. Miley remains feet firm on the ground and stays away from trouble. Her story behind this is that her parents keep her on track. Now that is parenting. Parents of young stars need to keep their children from drowning in the light of stardom and keep them straight.

Edison Chen Sex Scandal- pictures found on pink Macbook

America has Britney to thank for all the media frenzy. On the other side of the World, there is another person responsible for the media frenzy in Asia. A well known Hong Kong pop idol Edison Chen became the center of a sex scandal after photos of him and eight actresses and singers of Asia were leaked out on the internet. Edison is a famous actor who has branched out into the clothing line as well as singing.

So how did these photos leak out? Authorities and Edison believe that the photos were illegally copied when he took his customized pink Macbook in for service. About 1,300 intimate photos of Edison and other celebrities were copied. The first photo surfaced on Jan 27, 2008 and since then more have come out. Eight arrests have been made in Hong Kong while protests popped up against the arrests for abuse of power. Edison Chen has issued an apology for the families of those in the photos that were released. Currently he is staying in Boston with his girlfriend Vincy Yeung.
